At Selva, each piece of jewellery is the result of working hand in hand with Ecuadorian artisans, guardians of traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation. Our mission is to support their talent, offer them fair pay, and share their art with the world. We work with tagua, a natural material known as vegetable ivory, a seed that is sustainably harvested without harming forests or wildlife. Each tagua bead is cut, polished, and dyed by hand, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike.
